Deliver Me

Deliver me from thoughts of inadequacy,

as I know my purpose is found solely in You Father

Deliver me from judging others,

as I only see so far into

their lives Lord-

give me a non-critical spirit and a heart

full of compassion

Deliver me from discontentment,

and help me to keep seeing that true

peace is only found in You

Deliver me from negative thoughts

about myself,

and help me to never forget that I am

created in Your image

Deliver me from my fearful heart,

as I know perfect love casts out

all fear

Deliver me from worry, and anxiety,

for You'll gladly carry any burden

Deliver me from confusion,

as your peace surpasses all worldly

understanding

Deliver me from my cynical ways,

as you have a Spirit contradicts that

Deliver me from bondage to worldly possessions,

as I want to store up my treasures in heaven

And deliver me from selfishness,

as You are a servant Yourself

Forgive my wandering heart when it is away from you
